140 char is a blog dedicated to the growing trend of microblogging, including Twitter, Plurk, Jaiku, Pownce, Tumblr and Seesmic.

Dan Thornton is Digital Marketing Manager at Absolute Radio by day,  blogger at The Way of the Web at night. He spent seven years as a journalist and still writes on a freelance basis, and until recently edited Disposable Media online magazine for fun. Lauren Fisher runs Simply Zesty - an online PR and social media agency based in Dublin. Lauren moved to Ireland in May this year to set up Simply Zesty with Niall Harbison. She previously worked in Brighton, starting her career in paid search marketing before moving into social media.

Jo Jordan is a work psychologist and she writes, speaks and consults on positive psychology in the work place. She also blogs at Flowing Motion and Social Media Mafia. She thinks the 21st century is surprisingly fun and that we are about to see a revolution in the workplace based on positive psychology, new media, games and a powerful Gen Y.
